This Privacy Policy explains how Revue.ai (“Revue,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and report workflow. By using Revue, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy and our Terms of Service.
Revue is a career-tools service that uses automated analysis and artificial intelligence to generate resume fit reports. Because AI processing is central to the product, please read the “AI processing” section carefully.
Information we collect
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers from our auth provider (Supabase).
- Workflow content: resumes (PDF), job posting text, generated reports, and related metadata such as tier, timestamps, and fit scores.
- Payment data: purchases are handled by Stripe. We receive transaction references and credit balances — not full card numbers.
- Usage & diagnostics: basic logs needed to operate, secure, and debug the service (for example, API errors and pipeline status).
How we use information
We use your information to:
- Generate and store your Revue reports
- Manage credits, trials, upgrades, and share links you create
- Authenticate you and prevent abuse
- Improve reliability and support you when you contact us
We do not sell your resume or job posting data to third parties. Your uploads are used to provide your reports and operate the product.
AI processing
Revue uses artificial intelligence and automated analysis as a core part of the service. When you run a report, we may send portions of your resume text, extracted resume content, and job posting text to third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini) to generate analysis, narratives, recommendations, and other report features.
Important details about AI processing:
- Content is sent to AI providers only as needed to produce your requested report features — not for unrelated advertising or profiling.
- AI output may contain errors or omissions. It is generated automatically and should be reviewed by you before use. See our Terms of Service for disclaimers.
- We select AI providers that offer appropriate data-handling terms for API use. Their processing is governed by their own policies in addition to this one.
- We do not use your resume or job posting content to train public-facing AI models for unrelated purposes.
Service providers
We share data only with service providers that help us run Revue, under appropriate safeguards:
- Vercel — website hosting
- Supabase — authentication and database storage
- Stripe — payment processing
- Render — API and report pipeline hosting
- Google (Gemini) — AI-assisted report generation
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Revue and our users.
Retention
Retention depends on your report tier: trial reports are session-oriented; Basic and Mid reports are stored for a limited period (shown in your account); Premium reports are stored permanently unless you delete your account or we are required to remove data. You can review past workflows in your account history where your tier allows.
Sharing & share links
Share links you create expose report overview content to anyone with the link — only share when you intend to. We do not make your reports publicly searchable.
Security
We use industry-standard practices including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated API access, and access controls on stored data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password.
You understand that your content (not including credit card information) may be transferred over various networks and may involve changes to conform to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks when processed by Stripe.
Your choices
- Access and review your workflow history in your account
- Contact us to request correction or deletion where applicable
- Stop using the service and sign out at any time
Children
Revue is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of Revue after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
